Since I sometimes post things that can be (and tend to end up being) misinterpreted and/or used against me/my school/random people I don’t even know and/or (mis)quoted as fact/fiction/rumour, I feel it necessary to write a disclaimer. This is almost certainly no good as a legal disclaimer of any sort, and that’s not what this is meant as; I just want to get across the point that when I make mistakes (accidental libel, miquotation, etc.) I don’t do it intentionally, and to resolve the situation an informal explanatory chat / email tends to work a lot better than an imposing summoning to some really important person’s office.
The contents of this blog reflect my opinion; in fact often a distorted and/or exaggerated version thereof. Therefore none of the following (including but not limited to) can be held responsible for and/or taken to be represented by any content in this blog:
- My friends / family
- My school
- People I quote – sometimes I quote wrongly
In addition, my opinions on issues are a function of time and thus are themselves subject to change, a phenomenon which I believe to be an inevitable consequence of critical thinking and scepticism (in that sense I’m like Nietzsche. God help me). My opinions and attitudes at the time of writing a post may differ significantly from those at a later or previous date; my posts are only capable of providing a snapshot of me at some point in time. In addition, I have a tendency of using hyperbole, leading to potential inaccuracies in my attempts at self-representation.
In other words, I am not necessarily fully and correctly represented by the contents of my blog.

I don’t think this ‘disclaimer’ would protect someone in court.
“sometimes I quote wrongly”
Thanks – fixed
